My process starts with you - your goals are my priority. I am not a “brand” designer and believe each job should reflect the client’s hopes and not my own aesthetic.

I bring a knowledge and passion for plants, materials and design. Together, we will build something beautiful.

Dream it.

The Conceptual Phase is where we explore design goals for your project. I work with you to start identifying materials and plant palettes. This phase can also include measuring the site and preparing a computer drafted base plan. Smaller projects can go from this phase straight to installation.

Design it.

The Schematic Design phase produces a set of plans and drawings that set into place the design goals of the previous phase. This usually includes a paving plan, planting plan and any necessary detail drawings. At this point contractor arrangements and cost estimates can be made.

Build it.

I want to work closely with the contractor to ensure that design goals are being met. I like to handle plant ordering to maintain quality and place plant materials myself before they are planted. This allows for last minute nudges that produce excellent results.
